The 40th season of the "Theatre Under the Stars" line up of shows will begin May 2012 and what better way to get the new season AND a rebuilt theatre started off right than to have a party.

Don't miss these highlights of the evening:

• Watch a live production of the Maplewood Barn Radio Theatre.
• Hear from the authors of the soon-to-be released book, "Theatre Under the Stars: An Informal, Pictorial History of Maplewood Barn Community Players".
• See pictures of the rebuild of the Barn.
• Find out about the exciting season that begins in May 2012 at the rebuilt Barn.
• Meet the directors!

There will also be lots of information for you about auditions, and opportunities to join the orchestra or crew, in this historic season in the new Barn plus much more!

The MSHAA Wrestling Championships return to Mizzou Arena on February 16-18, 2012.  Come to Columbia to watch the Missouri High School's best compete for the title in their respective class.

Mizzou New Play Series, February 6-12 2012

The Mizzou New Play Series is the week of February 6th - 12th, 2012 in the Corner Playhouse on the MU Campus.

Are you adventurous? Do you like risky new plays and dangerous new playwrights? If so, take a walk on the wild side with seven days of new drama with a different play each evening.

Performed as concert readings, the Mizzou New Plays presents exciting, award-winning new work from the Missouri Playwrights Workshop.  Professor David Crespy, Aritisic Director.

This event is FREE and Open to the Public.

ESPN Gameday at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, February 4 2012

ESPN Gameday will be at Mizzou Arena in Columbia on February 4, 2012 and it will be a huge party as the Mizzou Tigers and Kansas Jayhawks compete for a final time as Big 12 rivals in their annual Border Showdown game.

This year has seen the Mizzou Tigers get into the Top 10 AP college teams and they are showing no signs of slowing down but rather have their sights set on making it to the NCAA College Basketball Championship.

On hand will be ESPN's College Gameday team to cover all the action for this marque match-up.  We hope you too will be able to come to Columbia, Missouri for the game.  Go Tigers!
